Activate prides itself in providing high quality group classes. All classes provide low as well as high options. All classes apart from Pilates are included in your membership.
Please book all classes through the gym master app or at reception.
Please note class timetable may vary over the school holidays and may change, be run virtually or cancelled due to low bookings. Les Mills Virtual classes are available any time during reception hours when the aerobic room is free.
Options are – Body attack, Body pump, Body combat, Grit, Body balance, CXWORK (core conditioning), Body step and SH-bam (Dance Fitness).
BODYPUMP® Barbell workout that tones and strengthens the body.
BODYBALANCE® The Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that will leave you feeling centered and calm. You will build
strength and flexibility in one.
LITEPACE
A 45min gentle low impact aerobics based class for mainly over 50’s. Includes aerobic movements, strength, balance and core.
SIT & BE FIT
Is senior’s seated and standing exercise to music. The class is good for coordination, strength, fitness and stability.
SPIEGHTS – SPIN WEIGHTS COMBO: Great fun class to get your heart rate up pumping and toning at the same time.
45mins
SPIN: 45Min indoor cycling workout where you take on the terrain. Your instructor will lead the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks and interval training.
MAT & REFORMER PILATES: Times, days and availability for Reformer Pilates varies, please contact Sarah for more information on Pilates at [email protected].
Spin is the indoor cycling workout where you discover your athlete within.
Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training.
A high cardio class that burns calories and builds fitness.

Group classes are a fantastic way to stay motivated and challenge yourself to push harder than before. Real workout enthusiasts will find any place and any time to fit in some form of exercise, whether it’s walking to work, taking the stairs or sneaking in a few push-ups during your lunch break. That’s great too! But nothing quite compares to our group fitness classes at Activate Gym in Dannevirke. Whether you want a shoulder workout, legs workout, chest workout, biceps exercise, or all-round cardio, you will find something ideal for you in our workout classes.
Anyone is welcome, including people of all fitness levels and everyone over the age of 16. We offer high and low impact classes to accommodate beginner to advanced gym-goers, as well as the elderly in our community who want to stay fit. Our group classes include LesMills (BODYPUMP®, BODYSTEP® and BODYBALANCE®), Spin, Sit & Be Fit (senior’s class), Litespace (low impact aerobics), Pilates and Yoga, as well as virtual classes. We have the best gym instructors in Dannevirke who are friendly and will help you get the most out of your gym time.
